While Dad’s don’t undergo the same dramatic physical changes during pregnancy as their partners, they are faced with their own range of challenges and uncertainties. Medical studies indicate an increasing number of new Dads presenting for treatment of back and neck pain due to a lack of functional core strength and incorrect lifting and bending techniques when tending to their new bundle of joy. TDY focuses on educating soon-to-be Dads – both in a practical and theoretical manner – on the benefits and techniques of correct lifting and bending methods. Your specific training includes information to help you avoid injury and a tailored training program for improved functional core strength. These sessions can also be designed to incorporate general strength and cardiovascular fitness training.
